Job summary

Crombie REIT in Halifax, NS, is hiring a Customer Service Associate to be the face of Crombie, handling client inquiries related to building maintenance and operations with exceptional service. The role requires flexibility to work days, evenings and weekends and collaboration across departments.

Based at Scotia Square, you will monitor portals, maintain records, and support safety and communication across teams, with opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Respond to client inquiries by phone and email in a timely, professional manner.
• Maintain records and log-books as required by Crombie.
• Monitor client services platform and assign tasks to team members.
• Coordinate with management and other Crombie departments to resolve issues.
• Assist with incident summaries and client communications.
• Support a safe, respectful work environment across teams.
• Handle parking payments and gift certificate sales as needed.

Position Summary

Based out of Scotia Square in Halifax, NS the Customer Service Associate is the face of Crombie, answering any client questions related to building maintenance, operations, and other matters, while providing exceptional customer service.

Additional duties of the Customer Service Associate include but are not limited to:

• Performs all required client services activities, efficiently and accurately, on a day-to-day basis, according to company procedures and guidelines.
• Demonstrates a professional attitude in order to promote a positive company image and provide excellent customer service.
• Helps maintain positive relationships with our clients/customers by responding to telephone and email inquiries in a timely, professional manner.
• Builds and maintains respectful, positive working relationships with Crombie management team and other Crombie departments.
• Monitors online client services platform/portal, recording and assigning tasks to employees.
• Maintains records and log-books as required by the organization.
• Initiates online requests with respect to customer/client issues, preparing incident summaries, insecure premises communications to clients and so forth.
• Monitors radios for entire Client Services team and cameras for the complex.
• Responds to emergency and crisis situations following current company procedures and policies.
• Issues, tracks and maintains card access and keys for the complex.
• Accepts parking payments and sells gift certificates.
• Redirects problems outside of their scope to appropriate individuals.
• Helps facilitate clear communication for all client services departments, including management, security, parking, maintenance, engineering and accounting employees.
• Engages across all levels of the organization to create and promote a safe and respectful work environment.
• Other special projects and tasks as assigned.

The profile we are looking for

• Proficient in the use of computer systems.
• Demonstrated experience in a customer service-focused environment.
• Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends is required.
• Experience with Yardi Voyager is considered an asset.
• Strong communication skills.
• Clear criminal record check.
