Customer Service Rep
About The Role
As a Customer Service Representative, your main duties include performing data entry to update automated records, batching documents, keying data from source documents, and verifying the accuracy of entries efficiently and timely.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Batch and organize documents for data entry.
  • Accurately and efficiently enter data from source documents into automated systems.
  • Prioritize tasks based on schedules and client expectations.
  • Verify data accuracy, check for errors, and make corrections as needed.
  • Troubleshoot data issues and escalate when necessary.
  • Operate peripheral equipment involved in data entry.
  • Assist in developing formats and procedures to improve processes.
  • Maintain safety awareness and report hazards.
  • Follow security and privacy policies to protect information.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility.
  • Work in various environments, including offices, warehouses, and production areas, with occasional exposure to environmental factors.
  • Engage in repetitive motions such as twisting, bending, climbing, and lifting up to 25 lbs. frequently.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in English reading, writing, and speaking.
  • Ability to work at a computer for long periods.
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, grasp, reach, sit, talk, and hear as required.
  • Close vision and focus capability for accurate tasks.
  • Experience with data entry is preferred.
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions like twisting, bending, and climbing.
