Job summary

Banque Nationale du Canada is seeking a Customer Service Agent for its call centres in Montreal. You will support clients with financing needs including personal loans, lines of credit, and mortgages, using strong listening and advisory skills.

You will take calls, answer questions about financing products, guide clients to suitable solutions, and assist with banking applications, with a schedule that includes weekday and weekend coverage and advance notice three weeks ahead.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required.
  • Aptitude for building strong relationships and proactively establishing ties with clients.

As a Customer Service Agent for our call centres, you’ll support our clients with their financing needs including personal loans, lines of credit and mortgages. You’ll have a positive impact on clients with your listening and advisory skills.

  • Take calls from clients
  • Answer questions related to financing products (personal loans, student loans, lines of credit, mortgage loans)
  • Listen to clients’ needs and offer personalized solutions
  • Help clients use our banking applications
  • Refer clients with specialized needs to the correct sector

Our Client Contact centre is open Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Your work schedule is variable, and you’ll be informed of your schedule three weeks in advance.

Learning and development

You’ll start with a training program lasting 6 to 8 weeks.Your on-the-job training will focus on learning how to help clients over the phone, and you'll be supported by a trainer.

Prerequisites

Languages:

Reason to require this language: you will need to serve clients who speak a language other than French regularly.
