Job summary

CEVA Logistics is seeking a Customer Service Administrator to support freight trace, carrier communications, and documentation in a fast-paced environment. Fluency in English and French, strong communication, and accurate data entry are essential.

You will coordinate with airlines, trucking companies, and internal teams to notify customers of delays, prepare quotes, and ensure timely delivery. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a basic understanding of logistics terminology are required.

Typical Responsibilities:

  • Trace and track customer's freight.
  • Maintaincontact with the airlines, trucking companies and any agents that will be handling the freight to ensure shipper and consignees are aware of any problems.
  • Provide proof of delivery.
  • Responsible forprocessing pick-up requestsand entering datain the system.
  • Respond to and handle all daily customer service requests.
  • Notify customers of any delays in shipping and dispatching points.
  • Enter shipment data in system.
  • Prepare rates and invoices House AirWay Bills.
  • Prepare and assist with quotes for customers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Must be bilingual: fluent in English andFrench, both spoken and written
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
  • Ability to read and interpret documents and write routine correspondence
  • Basic math skills: add, subtract, multiply, and divide using CAD currency, weight, volume, and distance measurements
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based, and job-specific software applications; accurate typing and data entry skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to interact effectively with diverse teams and speak confidently before groups
  • Responds promptly and professionally to customer needs and manages complex situations with empathy and efficiency
  • Skilled in gathering and analyzing information to resolve issues
  • Ability to balance team and individual responsibilities, remain objective, and open to others’ views
  • Consistent attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to handle inquiries, resolve issues, and manage escalations professionally
  • Basic knowledge of logistics operations and terminology
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution capabilities
