MARCHÉ D’ALIMENTATION COREEN MTL in Montréal, QC, is hiring a Food service counter attendant to join our team. This permanent, full-time role involves serving customers at counters, preparing simple items, stocking supplies, and maintaining a clean, fast-paced front of house.

The ideal candidate is fluent in English or French, reliable, a good team player, and able to multitask in a busy market. Shifts include Day, Evening, Night, Weekend and Morning hours.

• The candidate should be fluent in English or French languages.
• The candidate must have a High school diploma.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related industry.

Responsibilities

• Load buspans and trays.
• Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas.
• Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand.
• Clean pots and pans.
• Keep track of the food quantities consumed.
• Package take-out food.
• Portion and wrap foods.
• Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items.
• Serve customers at counters or buffet tables.
• Stock refrigerators and salad bars.
• Take customer orders.
• Clean, peel, slice, and trim foods using both manual and electrical appliances.
• Clean and sanitize the kitchen surfaces, cabinets, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
• Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas.
• Sharpen kitchen knives.
• Wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruits.
