Job summary

Walmart Canada is seeking a General Merchandise Associate in Burnaby to deliver outstanding customer service, keep the sales floor organized, and support stocking and merchandising activities across general merchandise.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, assisting with product selection, promoting services, and resolving concerns; maintaining floor coverage; merchandising and recovery; stocking and modular execution; and upholding safety and cleanliness standards in a fast-paced retail

Responsibilities

• Deliver an excellent customer experience by greeting customers, assisting with product selection, promoting products and services, helping locate merchandise, supporting purchase decisions, and resolving or referring customer concerns as needed.
• Sales floor coverage and team support by covering assigned areas and assisting with Front End coverage when required, ensuring floor coverage and meeting customer needs.
• Merchandising, zoning, and recovery by maintaining a clean, organized sales floor, moving feature merchandise to modular locations, and recovering merchandise from various store areas.
• Stocking and modular execution by stocking merchandise, completing downstocking, applying protection, and setting modulars including flex and new shelf caps.
• Safety, cleanliness, and compliance by maintaining a safe, clean work environment, following company policies, completing safety logs, and ensuring displays/fixtures are secure.
• Flexibility with availability/work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
