Job summary

Columbia Sportswear Canada is seeking a Retail Associate to provide exceptional customer service, answer questions, and offer product recommendations while representing the brand on the sales floor.

You will handle merchandising, stock replenishment, and cash register transactions, maintain store standards, and support the store leadership team in delivering a memorable in-store experience. This is a part-time role with a flexible retail schedule.

Qualifications

• No formal education required; HS diploma or GED preferred.
• Up to 2 years of experience in a similar retail role.
• Experience with inventory and POS systems or similar retail software.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers and answering questions about products, features, benefits, and availability.
• Maintain store standards for visual merchandising, cleanliness, and safety; retrieve merchandise from the floor or stockroom.
• Perform all cash register transactions (sales, returns, exchanges, loyalty program) accurately and efficiently.
• Contribute to store profitability by receiving, replenishing, and processing product flow.
