Job summary

Columbia Sportswear Canada is seeking a Retail Associate to deliver exceptional in-store experiences. You will assist customers, answer questions about product features, manage merchandise displays, and process transactions at the checkout with accuracy.

No specific education is required; 2 years of retail experience or less is common. You will work a flexible retail schedule, lifting up to 40 lbs, and use POS and inventory software to support store operations.

Qualifications

• No specific education required (High School Diploma or GED preferred).
• 2 years of experience in a retail role or similar.
• Experience operating inventory and POS systems and other retail software tools.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by responding to questions and assisting with product selections.
• Maintain store standards for visual merchandising, cleanliness, and safety.
• Perform all cash register transactions (sales, returns, exchanges, loyalty) accurately.
• Support store profitability through efficient product flow and inventory handling.
