Job summary

Clutch Technologies Inc. in Calgary is hiring a Customer Experience & Vehicle Intake Coordinator (Field Specialist) to be the face of our new Calgary location.

You will inspect and pick up vehicles, coordinate between the retail site and off-site appointments, and deliver a high-touch customer experience as we launch in Alberta. The role requires 2+ years of customer-facing experience, a Class 5 Alberta driver's license, a clean driving record, and legal eligibility to work in Canada.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer-facing experience.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• A Class 5 Alberta driver's license with a 3-year clean driving record.
• Background check must be clean.
• Legally authorized to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a uniquely special experience to each and every customer.
• Meet customers at Calgary area locations to inspect and pick up vehicles being sold to Clutch.
• Provide exceptional customer service and address customer needs and issues.
• Inspect vehicles for cosmetic and mechanical condition using the inspection app.
• Complete customer paperwork accurately and take thorough notes in the tracking system.
• Safely operate Clutch’s car hauler truck with full training provided.
• Support other team members as needed.

About the role:

We’re on a mission to build a world-class team that drives innovation, growth and excellence. As we scale rapidly, we’re looking for a Customer Experience & Vehicle Intake Coordinator (Field Specialist) to be the face of Clutch at our new Calgary location.

As a member of our Calgary launch team, you’ll have the opportunity to help build a new market from the ground up, shape how we operate and grow alongside the business. Since our entire car-selling process is online, you’ll often be the first Clutch employee our customers meet when they sell their vehicle. You’ll have the freedom to go above and beyond to make sure every customer has a great, unique experience in this dynamic customer service and transportation role.

What you’ll do:

• Delivering a uniquely special experience to each and every one of our customers.
• Work between our retail location and off-site appointments, meeting customers throughout the Calgary area to inspect and pick up vehicles they are selling to Clutch.
• A major part of this job is having exceptional customer service skills, where you’ll be the face of the company in addressing customer needs, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction at every touchpoint.
• Bring a sharp eye for detail when inspecting vehicles using our guided inspection app, carefully assessing cosmetic and mechanical condition to identify potential issues and provide customers with a high-quality experience.
• You will be accurately and efficiently completing customer paperwork as well as taking thorough notes in our customer tracking system.
• Learn to safely operate Clutch’s car hauler truck, including loading, securing and transporting vehicles from customer pickup locations back to our storage facility. Full training will be provided.
• You’ll also be a team player by assisting other team members with various tasks as necessary.

What we’re looking for:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience:
• 2+ years of customer-facing experience
• Passionate about cars and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• License: A class 5 License (valid in Alberta)
• Driving Record: 3 years of clean driver’s abstract with no major infractions.
• Background Check: Clean criminal background check.
• Work Authorization: Legally authorized to work in Canada.
• Availability: Must be available to work a minimum of 40 hours per week, including weekends, with overtime as required. Clutch operates seven days a week.

It’d be great if you have:

• Experience driving larger vehicles is an asset, as you’ll occasionally get behind the wheel of our bright red Clutch car hauler.

Employment Type:

• New, Permanent Full-Time,
• Salary range: $24 per hour
