About The Role

Based out of our Value Buds Grande Prairie, AB Railtown Location, we are seeking experienced Customer Experience Representatives who can handle challenges with confidence. They will be responsible for maintaining the store's appearance and becoming knowledgeable about cannabis to assist customers effectively. We are looking for proactive individuals who enjoy meeting new people, building relationships, and are eager to learn about this emerging industry.

Role And Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
Customer Offering
  • Greet customers, engage in conversation, and understand their needs
  • Create a welcoming and positive store environment
  • Educate customers on cannabis products, strains, and consumption methods
Day to Day Operations
  • Participate in merchandising and promotional activities to promote our culture and brand
  • Collaborate with Store Managers and team members to generate sales
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, industry legislation, and trends
  • Ensure store cleanliness and participate in routine maintenance
  • Process customer transactions accurately on the POS system and follow cash and loss prevention procedures
  • Monitor and restock inventory regularly
Regulatory Adherence
  • Follow all Occupational, Health, and Safety policies and procedures
  • Support Nova Cannabis’s and AGLC’s social responsibility initiatives
  • Adhere to company policies, standard operating procedures, and practices
Experience And Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of customer service experience
  • At least 2 years of retail and/or hospitality experience
  • Cannabis, liquor, or healthcare experience is preferred
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid SellSafe certification
  • Valid Qualified Cannabis Worker certification
  • Must pass a Criminal Record Check
  • Knowledge of Alberta cannabis regulations
