Job summary

Farm Boy in Ottawa is seeking a customer‑focused team member to deliver excellent service and maintain appealing product displays. You will engage with customers, assist with queries, stock shelves, and ensure clean, safe store conditions.

The role requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, with fluency in English; French is a plus. Prior retail experience and a collaborative mindset are valued to support daily store operations and local community involvement.

Qualifications

• Genuine passion for delivering engaging customer service.
• Retail experience is an asset; education/experience may be considered.
• Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Collaborative, team-oriented approach with good communication.
• Thrives in fast-paced environments with multiple deadlines; standing, lifting, and working in cooler/freezer.
• Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Fluency in English; French language skills are an asset.

Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, confident, and engaging customer service.
• Welcome, greet, and assist customers following Farm Boy standards.
• Package, stock, and rotate merchandise with quality presentation and signage.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas through housekeeping duties.
• Follow Health & Safety, Food Safety policies and proper equipment use.
• Complete opening and closing procedures and support team members as needed.
• Assist team with additional duties on a periodic basis.
