You’ll greet customers, assist at the checkout, process transactions accurately, and share knowledge about Farm Boy products to answer questions. This role requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays, accurate cash handling, and the ability to stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• Genuine passion for delivering engaging customer service.
• Retail experience is an asset or equivalent education/experience.
• For alcohol locations: Smart Serve certification or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to work independently with attention to detail and deliver quality results.
• Collaborative approach with strong communication and organizational skills.
• Strong math skills with accuracy in processing transactions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, confident, and engaging customer service at checkout.
• Greet and assist customers while processing purchases accurately, scanning items and handling tenders.
• Share knowledge about Farm Boy products and answer customer questions.
• Learn and apply product codes to ensure timely checkout service.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized store areas and basic housekeeping duties.
• Support store operations by answering and directing phone calls as needed.
• Assist with alcohol sales where applicable, following Smart Serve guidelines.
• Follow Health & Safety and Food Safety policies and participate in team duties.
