Job summary

Walmart Canada in Carleton Place, ON seeks a General Merchandise Associate to deliver friendly, professional customer service, assist shoppers with product selection, and support stocking and sales activities across the general merchandise area.

You will cover the sales floor, assist with front-end coverage, handle merchandising and zoning, stock and recover merchandise, maintain safety and cleanliness, and adapt to a schedule that includes evenings, weekends and holidays; starting pay is $17.75

Qualifications

• Age – 16 or older
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform light lifting as part of stocking duties

Responsibilities

• Deliver an excellent customer experience.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service and assist with product selection.
• Cover sales floor areas and support front-end coverage as needed.
• Merchandising, zoning and recovery of merchandise on the floor.
• Stocking and modular execution including downstocking and floor changes.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness by following store policies and procedures.
