Job summary

StandardAero in Winnipeg, MB, is seeking a Director of Customer Service & Programs to lead the Industrial Engine MRO programs for the Winnipeg Energy Business. You will align strategic, operational and financial objectives with cross-functional teams and OEM partners.

This role focuses on managing customer relationships, program performance, budgeting, continuous improvement, and S&OP processes to drive margins and growth across energy products.

Qualifications

  • University degree in business administration, commerce, engineering; or equivalent.
  • 8+ years of experience in customer service/account management in an aerospace environment, or equivalent Leadership experience.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and program management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Participate as a member of the appropriate management team, contributing to strategic planning, budgets, business goals, and organizational outcomes for the Energy business.
  • Lead customer and OEM relationships across assigned Energy programs, ensuring customer requirements, expectations, and performance objectives are understood and communicated.
  • Provide leadership and oversight for customer service, program management, and cross-functional initiatives, removing obstacles and driving improvements in efficiency, quality, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
  • Manage assigned budgets and contribute to business plans, sales forecasts, quotes, projections, business development proposals, and strategic growth initiatives.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives across customer programs, identifying opportunities to improve processes, performance, margins, and overall operational effectiveness.
  • Oversee OEM relationships and requirements across Energy products, including license agreements, renewals, offload agreements, KPI performance, communications, and escalations.
  • Lead S&OP processes and program reviews for key Energy products and customer accounts, ensuring performance gaps, customer concerns, and cross-functional actions are clearly identified and resolved.
  • Monitor customer needs, satisfaction, program performance, and profitability, including target margins and estimate-to-invoice variance (EIVA), and develop recommendations to address risks and opportunities.
  • Oversee Energy sales operations, including rental assets, warranty administration, special policies, opportunity capture, lost-sales analysis, and strategies to support market growth and business objectives.
  • Lead and develop the team through hiring, training, career development, performance management, compensation, employee relations, and health and safety, while supporting sales strategies and Level I-III CTA pricing and presentations as applicable.

Basic Qualifications

  • University degree in business administration, commerce, engineering; or equivalent
  • 8+ years of experience in customer service/account management in an aerospace environment, or equivalent Leadership experience.

Preferred Requirements

  • Strong planning, organizational, analytical, leadership, interpersonal, decision making, oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to pull data (SA Datacorp) and perform effective analysis / synthesis is a strong asset.
  • Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and customer service skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of company processes, instructions and export compliance.
  • Working knowledge of products within the market segment.
