Shoppers Drug Mart Inc. is seeking a customer-focused associate to provide prompt service at the retail postal outlet and maintain a clean, organized checkout area. You will greet customers, scan items, and manage cash, coupons, lottery and PC Optimum transactions with accuracy.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and actively engage with customers.
• Maintain a neat and organized checkout area.
• Greet customers with a warm, professional demeanor.
• Accurately scan or enter product data at the register.
• Accurately account for cash, coupons, lottery, and PC Optimum payments.
• Ask for the PC Optimum card with every transaction.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent customer service and positively engages with all customers.
• Maintains a neat and organized checkout area.
• Greets all customers and displays a warm demeanor.
• Accurately scans or enters product data.
• Accurately accounts for cash and coupon, lottery, and PC Optimum.
• Asks for customer's PC Optimum Card during each transaction.
• Merchandises and maintains designated areas (i.e. facing, signing, labeling, etc).
• Ensures loss prevention standards are followed.
• Controls cash, lottery, and stamp inventory.
• Presents proper image to the public in accordance with Uniform Policy and Dress Code Guidelines.
• Complies with all health and safety regulations and store policies.
• Maintains housekeeping standards and performs other duties as required.
