Shoppers Drug Mart is seeking a customer-focused associate to maintain excellent service at the checkout and assist with merchandising and store operations. You will greet customers, scan products, manage cash and PC Optimum, and help keep the checkout area neat.

The role emphasizes accurate data entry, adherence to policies, and teamwork to meet daily targets. Accommodation is available where required, with flexible schedules in a friendly neighbourhood store.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service at checkout and positively engage with customers.
• Maintain a neat and organized checkout area.
• Greets all customers with a warm demeanor.
• Accurately scans or enters product data and handles cash, coupons, lottery, and PC Optimum.
• Ask for the PC Optimum Card during every transaction.
• Merchandise and maintain designated areas (facing, signing, labeling).
• Follow loss prevention standards and manage cash, lottery, and inventory where required.
• Present a professional image per uniform policy and dress code; comply with health and safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as required.
