Job summary

The Home Depot in Duncan, BC is hiring a Front-end Associate to guide customers to checkout and support assisted transactions. You will help run the GET checkout process, greet customers, and promote services like credit and extended warranties while ensuring fast, accurate checkout.

Working a flexible schedule, you’ll operate in a busy, dusty retail environment, with potential evenings and weekend shifts. Minimum education is a high school diploma; 1–2 years retail or cash handling experience

Qualifications

• Highschool Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1–2 years Retail or Cash experience an asset.

Responsibilities

• Ensures Customer Satisfaction
• Demonstrates knowledge of products and services and makes appropriate suggestions to meet the customers’ needs.
• Treats all customers and associates in a sincere, appreciative manner and minimizes the time in the checkout line, acknowledging waiting customers.
• Promote and recommends services offered such as Credit, Extended Warranty, Tool Rental, Pro Services, etc.
