Job summary

eQ Homes is seeking a Customer Care Technician to support multiple sites in Ottawa, ON. You will address warranty service deficiencies, handle emergency and interval service calls, and perform maintenance repairs on model homes and sales centers to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.

You should have strong general repair skills for new homes, familiarity with Tarion guidelines, and a customer-focused, proactive mindset.

Qualifications

• Experience completing general repairs for new homes.
• Familiar with Tarion Construction Performance Guidelines.
• Strong customer satisfaction mindset and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Attend scheduled service appointments to complete 30-day, 1 year, 2 year or Interval service deficiencies.
• Review warranty items with homeowners.
• Monitor trades to ensure warrantable repairs follow guidelines.
• Obtain homeowner signatures on completed work orders.
• Coordinate with Customer Care Advisors on appointments and deficiencies.
• Prepare materials before scheduled service.
• Assess emergency or interval service calls.
• Complete maintenance and repairs on Model Homes and Sales Centers.
• Review daily work orders.
• Maintain the service van.
• Perform other duties as needed.
