JOB PURPOSE

The Customer Care & Sales Manager plays a critical dual role: leading the Account Services team to deliver exceptional customer service, while actively driving business growth through sales and client development. This role manages client onboarding, addresses service concerns, and identifies opportunities to expand accounts and secure new business. Working closely with internal departments and leadership, the Manager ensures both customer satisfaction and revenue growth are achieved in tandem.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience in customer service, account management, or sales—ideally in logistics or cold storage
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused, solutions-oriented approach
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Basic math and data analysis skills
• A self-starter who is both independent and collaborative
• Dependable, honest, and committed to high-quality work
• Experience in quoting, sales follow-up, or business development is an asset

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead, train, and support Account Services Representatives to maintain top-tier service levels
• Proactively identify and pursue sales opportunities with new and existing clients
• Develop pricing quotes and proposals for new business, disposals, and freight services
• Oversee smooth onboarding of new clients, including account setup and special requirements
• Build strong, trust-based relationships with clients and carriers
• Resolve client and carrier issues promptly with a customer-first mindset
• Analyze client data to ensure service standards and contract expectations are met
• Monitor KPIs and provide quarterly reports on customer performance and account growth
• Collaborate with internal departments to align service delivery with client expectations
• Recommend process and SOP improvements based on feedback and performance trends
• Represent the voice of the customer in internal planning and strategy sessions
• Contribute to special projects and continuous improvement initiatives

Salary Range: $70,000 – $95,000 annually, commensurate with experience, qualifications, and fit for the role.
