Royal Canadian Legion Branch 560 – Kingston, ON

Monday to Friday | 7:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

Royal Canadian Legion Branch 560 is seeking a reliable and dependable Part-Time Custodian to help keep our facility clean, welcoming and ready for members, guests and room rental events. This position involves general custodial duties as well as the setup and preparation of our rental rooms. The successful candidate should be comfortable working independently and must be able to complete required cleaning and room setups within the scheduled shift.

Duties include:

• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and general floor care
• Cleaning and sanitizing washrooms, tables, chairs and other furnishings
• Emptying garbage and maintaining cleaning and supply areas
• Restocking washroom supplies
• Preparing rental rooms, including moving and arranging tables and chairs into required configurations
• Returning rooms to their standard setup following events
• Setting up basic audio/visual equipment when required, such as microphones, screens, projectors or other equipment
• Seasonal duties, including clearing snow and ice from entrances and maintaining the patio area
• Ensuring the building is properly secured while opening/working in the facility
