Job summary

Fuze HR Solutions is seeking a reliable Custodian/General Labour to keep offices, warehouse spaces and washrooms clean and orderly. The role focuses on sanitation, daily cleaning tasks and attention to safety.

Afternoons Monday-Friday shifts 7am-3:30pm; full-time position with parking. Candidates should have a high school diploma and at least 1 year of custodian experience; training provided and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• At least 1 year custodian experience.
• Ability to stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours.
• Operate cleaning equipment and products (including Auto Scrubber).
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Clean terminals, offices, warehouse space and washrooms to company standards.
• Remove all refuse daily, ensure trash cans are empty and clean.
• Ensure restrooms are stocked with supplies.
• Relocate/move/adjust office furniture as needed.
• Maintain sanitation and housekeeping; pest control systems operational.
• Remove ice and snow from walkways and parking lots.
• Maintain company grounds free from litter and debris.
• Prepare labor/equipment reports.
• Maintain repair history logs by equipment type.
• Prepare complete records and reports as required.
• Report safety problems to shift supervisor.
• Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards.
• Perform other duties as instructed by Operations Manager.

Custodian/ General Labour

Custodian, responsible for the cleanliness of all offices, warehouse space and washrooms.

Functions & Responsibilities:

1. Cleans terminal with hand brooms, power scrubbers, sweepers and vacuum cleaners to meet company standards
2. Removes all refuse from offices, restrooms, break-rooms and building daily ensuring trash cans are empty and clean
3. Ensures that restrooms are stocked with necessary supplies
4. Relocates, moves and adjusts office furniture as necessary
5. Ensures that pest control systems are operating efficiently and that the highest degree of sanitation and housekeeping is maintained
6. Removes ice and snow from pedestrian walkways and parking lot(s)
7. Maintains company grounds free from litter and debris
8. Prepares company required reports on labor and equipment
9. Maintains a log on the history of repairs by type of equipment
10. Prepare complete and accurate records and reports as required
11. Reports any safety problems to the shift supervisor
12. Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards
13. Performs other duties as instructed by the Operations Manager

Qualifications—Skills and Competencies:

1. High School Diploma/GED preferred
2. At least 1 Year Custodian experience
3. Must be able to stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours
4. Operate/use cleaning equipment and products
5. Experience with Auto Scrubber
6. Valid BC Drivers License
