Job summary

Compass Group Canada is hiring a Custodian/Janitor for a full-time role at Calgary, AB. You will perform cleaning duties across floors, walls, windows, and surfaces, dispose of waste, and maintain a safe, orderly environment in the facility.

Experience in housekeeping is an asset; WHMIS and BSW certifications are pluses. Must follow instructions, work independently or with a team, and communicate in English. Starting rate is $16.50 per hour with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Prior custodial/housekeeping experience is an asset.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions.
• Good command of English, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Collect and dispose of trash following procedures.
• Dust and mop floors and surfaces as directed.
• Clean walls, windows, furniture, and baseboards.
• Move equipment and furniture for cleaning and return to place.
• Strip, scrub, and buff floors as needed.
