Job summary

Aramark is seeking a dedicated housekeeping staff member to clean rooms, bathrooms, and common areas in a remote camp setting. You will maintain a neat and safe environment, following Aramark and client standards, and perform duties as needed.

Prior experience in remote camp environments is an asset. You will also work to meet safety and organizational requirements while adhering to the company’s policies and providing dependable service.

Job description

Aramark offers a 15/13 work rotation schedule.

Transportation is provided by plane from the Bagotville and Rouyn-Noranda airports.

Employees are provided with meals, accommodation in a private room, and access to washer and dryer facilities.

Wage: $22.97
The wage will be increased according to the collective agreement in effect after the 300-hour probationary period.

• The candidate must possess a valid driver's license.

The schedule is 70 hours per week, and after 55 hours, overtime is paid at time and a half.

Job Responsibilities

• Clean rooms, bathrooms, and common areas.
• Maintain a clean and orderly environment to promote the safety and well-being of others.
• Clean assigned areas in accordance with Aramark and client standards and requirements.
• Perform housekeeping duties.
• Follow established safety regulations.
• Perform any other related duties as required.

Qualifications

• Must be versatile.
• Experience working in a remote camp environment is an asset.
• Must be able to follow safety procedures and basic precautions due to physical hazards and the use of hazardous chemicals.
• Must be able to work independently with limited supervision.
• Must have strong organizational skills, be courteous, sociable, dependable, and able to work as part of a team.
• WHMIS certification is an asset.
• Must be able to meet operational requirements.

The pay range for this position is $22.97 - $23.97.
