Western University’s Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL) seeks an Educational Developer, Curriculum to lead curriculum renewal and course design within the IQAP framework. The role supports faculty and departments through training and one-on-one design assistance.

The position emphasizes inclusive teaching, accessibility, and the adoption of innovative delivery formats, including online and blended modalities. A master’s degree is required; a PhD is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in curriculum, education, or related field.
  • PhD preferred.
  • 2 years of progressive experience developing resources and designing/facilitating workshops for instructors across teaching modalities.
  • 2 years of experience teaching at the college or university level.
  • Experience coordinating events and managing projects.
  • Experience facilitating online or blended workshops for instructors in post-secondary settings preferred.
  • Experience conducting program evaluation and project management preferred.
  • Experience facilitating curricular renewal or review processes preferred.
  • Teaching or course development experience in blended/online modalities preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Curriculum Review and Renewal: advise on course/program development and outcomes design as part of IQAP.
  • Faculty Development: design workshops, provide training, and support instructors in teaching excellence.
