Job summary

The University of Ottawa is seeking Teaching Assistants/Demonstrators/Lab Monitors for BIO3558 Vertebrate Zoology at the Main Campus. Work will be performed January 1, 2027 through April 30, 2027, with a total of 65 hours and two rates depending on student level.

The role includes preparation, student contact, grading, and proctoring, with compensation at two hourly rates. Six positions are available for the 2027 Winter Semester.

Responsibilities

• Preparation: 10 hours per week for course materials and planning.
• Contact with students: 30 hours per week for tutoring and discussion.
• Grading: 17 hours per week for assignment evaluation and feedback.
• Proctoring: 4 hours per week for exams and assessments.
