Wellways is seeking a First Nations Recovery Worker to provide culturally safe, recovery-focused support within a community living and support framework in Windsor/Richmond, NSW. The role supports Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people facing mental health challenges to achieve their goals and live meaningful lives.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team, travel across the region, and contribute to person-led, culturally informed care.

Competenze

• Certificate IV or Diploma in Mental Health, AOD or related social science qualification.
• 1+ year relevant work experience in the Mental Health Sector or Intentional Peer Support Training.
• Demonstrated connection with First Nations communities.

Mansioni

• Provide practical, culturally safe and recovery-focused support to participants in the community.
• Support participants to identify goals and develop recovery plans.
• Travel across the region to meet participant needs.
• Complete recovery plans and program documentation.
