You will work with clients, Elders, and partners to promote wellness and recovery, using traditional teachings and community resources.

Qualificações

• Certificate or diploma in applied counselling or a related field.
• 1–2 years experience in addictions, counselling, or recovery services.
• Ability to engage clients with empathy and non-judgmental approach.

Responsabilidades

• Develop intake processes for referrals and assessments.
• Provide client-centered counselling and crisis intervention.
• Develop individualized interventions and safety plans.
• Incorporate Ojibway culture, traditions, and healing practices.
• Maintain case notes and agency records.
• Plan and participate in community wellness events.
• Collaborate with Elders and service providers.
• Ensure confidentiality and ethical standards.
