Job summary

Brockville General Hospital in Canada is seeking a General Radiology and CT Technologist to provide safe, high-quality imaging services. The role reports to the Manager of Diagnostic Imaging and requires upholding policies, maintaining equipment, and participating in quality and safety initiatives.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program, registered with CMRITO, CPR certified, and able to perform CT procedures independently.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited radiology technology program.
  • Current registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO).
  • Knowledge of CMRT Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics.
  • CPR certification current throughout employment.
  • Successful completion of CAMRT CT Imaging 1, 2, 3 courses or ability to obtain certification.
  • Competent in venipuncture and contrast media injections.
  • Cross sectional anatomy knowledge.
  • Ability to perform CT independently.

Responsibilities

  • Provide safe, quality care to patients in Diagnostic Imaging.
  • Uphold department and organizational policies and procedures.
  • Maintain safe operation of CT and radiology equipment.
  • Participate in quality and safety initiatives.
