Job summary

W.F. Botkin is seeking a Crusher Tower Operator/Foreman to lead the crushing plant on site, oversee operations, inspections, and daily reporting.

You will operate crusher equipment safely, perform routine maintenance, coordinate setup/teardown, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards to maximize production.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years as a crusher operator with knowledge of safety, quality and production practices.
• Familiar with crushers, screeners, conveyors; competent with front-end loaders and excavators.
• Valid drivers license for commute to site.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills; ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

Crusher Tower Operator/ Foreman

The Crusher Tower Operator is responsible for operating crusher equipment and machinery. They are responsible for managing the crushing plant as the Foreman on site, including inspections, repairs, and operations of the crusher along with daily reports.

Job Duties:

• Operate and oversee crusher equipment and machinery safely and efficiently
• Conduct routine inspections and perform basic maintenance or repairs as needed such as greasing equipment, changing bearings, rollers, repairing and splicing conveyor belts.
• Assist with setup/teardown of crushing, conveying and screening equipment
• Adhere to all health and safety standards and company policies
• Monitoring the plant and running the crusher, screener, and cone to maximize production of plant
• Report equipment defects, accidents, or safety concerns promptly

Requirements:

• Must have a minimum of 1-2 years as a crusher operator, including a thorough knowledge of crushing safety, quality and production practices, equipment, and maintenance.
• Familiarity with crushers, screeners, conveyors, while being competent with the operation of front-end loaders and excavators.
• Valid drivers license to get to and from work
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and under pressure
