Job summary

Job description

W.F. Botkin is currently seeking a full-time Loader Operator for our aggregate sites. This role is responsible for operating loaders to transport aggregate or other materials, load semis, and/or stock pile aggregates.

Duties

• Operate loaders to load and transport various materials such as sand, gravel, or rocks
• Maintain and operate the loader in a safe and effective manner
• Adhere to workplace safety policies and regulations.
• Ensure that materials are loaded safely and efficiently, and that production goals are met
• Perform pre and post operational inspections on loader and report any issues
• Ability to construct ramps and stockpiles
• Effectively operate loader controls to lower and tilt bucket and drive forward to force bucket into bulk material, etc
• Complete all necessary paperwork

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Loader Operator.
• Experience in routine equipment maintenance.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work under pressure with attention to detail.
• Valid drivers license (Class 3A) and a clean driving record
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production goals.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Scheduling flexibility as overtime and out of town is needed
