Job summary

TC Energy in Calgary seeks a Senior Manager, Real Estate to lead strategy, transactions, and portfolio governance across Canada, the U.S. and Mexico.

You will align space planning with headcount, operational needs and growth goals while driving cost efficiency and long-term value. Lead site acquisitions, leases and dispositions; manage due diligence, regulatory reviews, and cross‑border coordination with Legal, Finance and leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive corporate real estate experience including lease negotiation, complex transactions, and portfolio strategy.
• Experience in energy, industrial, or asset-intensive sectors is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the corporate real estate strategy across Canada, the U.S., and Mexico.
• Lead site acquisitions, leases, renewals, subleases, expansions, consolidations, and dispositions.
• Negotiate lease and purchase agreements in collaboration with brokers; manage due diligence for new sites.
• Coordinate cross-border regulatory and legal reviews to ensure compliant outcomes.
• Prepare business cases, valuations and financial analyses to support leadership decisions.
• Collaborate with Facilities team to align workspace strategy and site readiness.
• Ensure governance and compliance; maintain documentation and audit-readiness.
