TDR Transportation & Logistics in Atlantic Canada is seeking a Cross Border Heavy Haul Driver to join our team. You will drive long distances across Canada and the United States, loading, transporting, and offloading diverse freight while adhering to safety and regulatory requirements.

You will use electronic logbooks, inspect equipment, and communicate with dispatchers. The role requires a Class 1 license, knowledge of transport laws, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused

Qualifications

• 3–5 years cross border experience with specialized permitted loads.
• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent).
• Class 1 driver’s license.
• Knowledge of transport laws and regulations.
• Experience using electronic logbooks.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and vehicle maintenance ability.

Responsibilities

• Drive long distances throughout Canada and the United States.
• Load, transport, and offload a variety of freight.
• Report incidents to a dispatcher and follow safety procedures.
• Follow all applicable traffic laws and inspect trailer before/after trips.
• Maintain an electronic logbook of all activities and entry accuracy.
• Report mechanical issues and perform routine maintenance as needed.
• Keep truck and equipment clean and in good working order.
