Job summary

Contrans Vrac is seeking a full-time company driver for Canada/US routes. You will perform pre-trip inspections, load and unload bulk materials, tarp trailers, and maintain trailer safety and cleanliness.

Regular cross-border work requires a valid AZ license and clean CVOR/driver abstract, with software logging via Peoplenet. Responsibilities include handling paperwork, coordinating with dispatch and safety, and maintaining equipment across multiple facilities on a daily basis.

Qualifications

• Must be physically fit to climb 12' in and out of dump trailers, with repeated lifting.
• Able to lift 20–25 kg of material in and out of trailers multiple times daily.
• Willing to cross Canada/US borders; AZ license required; CVOR and driver abstract clean.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip inspections, including inspecting kingpin, tarping, and equipment.
• Load and unload bulk/dump products and ensure trailer is secure.
• Tarp trailers, open/close tarp systems, and manage cross bows as needed.
• Clean trailers and maintain cleanliness inside the unit.
• Complete paperwork such as logs, customs, and trip envelopes; use Peoplenet.
• Communicate with dispatch, safety, and maintenance departments.
