Job summary

Canada Cartage Group in Guelph, Ontario, is seeking an AZ Truck Delivery Driver to operate cross-border routes between Canada and the United States. Qualifications

• Valid AZ Drivers License
• Bondable and legally eligible to work in Canada
• Clean CVOR and driver’s abstract
• Verifiable recent commercial driving experience (within the past 1 year)
• Strong understanding of road safety regulations, hours of service, and load securement
• Experience operating commercial vehicles in winter driving conditions
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs as required
• Strong customer service and communication skills with a professional, safety-focused approach
• Minimum 1 year of AZ experience
• Legally eligible to enter the United States with valid documentation
• 8 months of cross-border driving experience

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles to transport freight across Canada–U.S. routes
• Complete deliveries and pickups to customer locations in a safe, timely, and professional manner
• Operate tractor-trailer equipment in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections of the vehicle, including checking tires, brakes, lights, and cargo securement; promptly report any issues to the maintenance department for timely repairs.
• Accurately complete all required documentation, including e-logs, inspection reports, delivery paperwork, and incident reports
• Maintain compliance with hours-of-service regulations, safety policies, and company procedures
• Maintain flexibility to meet operational and customer demands, including variable schedules, overtime, weekends, or overnight runs as required
