Job summary

Covenant Health in Edmonton’s Grey Nuns Community Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Intensive Care Unit and Critical Care Unit. The position is Regular Part Time with an 0.80 FTE, requiring ICU experience and active CRNA registration.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Registered Nurse program or recognized equivalent required.
• Active registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA) required.
• Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (Level C) required.
• Recent ICU experience and/or completion of Alberta OPAACA orientation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in nursing assessments and interventions, care planning and evaluating treatments.
• Administer medications and monitor patient progress with documentation.
• Act as advocate and liaison with multidisciplinary team; discharge planning as needed.
• Maintain patient safety and contribute to rapid response and code teams.
