Covenant Health’s Misericordia Community Hospital in Edmonton is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Emergency MCH unit. The RN will perform assessments, plan and implement care, administer medications, monitor progress, and coordinate discharge planning in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Registered Nurse program with active CRNA registration.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• If you have not practiced as an RN in the last five years, complete the required refresher courses.

Responsibilities

• Conduct nursing assessments and interventions.
• Participate in care planning and implement prescribed treatments.
• Administer medications and monitor patient response.
• Coordinate discharge planning with the multidisciplinary team.
• Educate patients and families and act as a patient advocate.
