It will establish a 3-month eligibility list which may be used to fill similar positions within Yukon EMS

The Yukon's Emergency Medical Services (YEMS) team delivers a wide scope of pre-hospital care. We deliver medical interventions, treatments, and quality care in every corner of the Yukon. Leadership, dedication, and partnership guides our work.
This opportunity
Reporting to the Superintendent, Air Ambulance the Critical Care Flight Nurse will employ professional Critical Care Life Support skills to provide pre-hospital and inter-facility treatment and transportation to the general population. Evaluates the patient's clinical condition and performs detailed assessments in order to establish a treatment plan in support of optimal patient care. Works in environments where there is no medical support and where transport times routinely exceed four hours.

Essential qualifications

- Current Registration with a Canadian registered nursing regulatory authority
- Recent experience delivering pre-hospital emergency care at the Advanced Life Support (ALS) level
