Spectrum Resource Group is seeking field crew in Canada for vegetation management under Wright Canada Holdings. The role offers an hourly wage of $21.40–$45, with overtime, statutory holidays and vacation pay, as well as per diem and travel accommodations where applicable.

Qualifications

• Ability to work away from home for periods.
• First Aid certification is an asset.
• Lift/move up to 50 pounds, infrequently.

Responsibilities

• Gather and remove cut vegetation and debris; dispose of or manage on-site (mulching, burning, hauling).
• Load/unload trucks with logs, stumps, brush, and debris; feed brush into a woodchipper.
• Set up tools and equipment for crew members.
• Perform physically demanding manual labor in varying weather.
• Set up barriers/signs to keep area safe for crew/public.
• Follow safety guidelines and wear PPE to reduce injury risk.
• Clear dead or dry brush in forests/dry areas to prevent wildfires.
• Clear paths for vehicles/workers/machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather and remove cut vegetation and debris from the site, ensuring it is properly disposed of or managed (e.g., mulching, burning, hauling away).
• Load and unload trucks with logs, stumps, brush, and debris, or feed brush into a woodchipper.
• Set up tools and equipment for crew memberts to use.
• Perform physically demanding manual labor in various weather conditions.
• Set up barriers or signs to keep the area safe for the crew and the public.
• Actively support and encourage working safely and supporting a positive team env
• In forested or dry areas, clear dead or dry brush to reduce the risk of wildfires.
• Clear paths for vehicles, workers, or machinery.
• Follow all safety guidelines and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) to reduce the risk of injury.
• Other duties as required.

Knowledge and Skills Expectations:

• The ability to work away from home for periods of time.
• B.C. Intermediate or Advanced First Aid certification, or equivalent, is considered an asset.
• Ability to lift, move and maneuver up to 50 pounds on an infrequent basis and up to 30 pounds on a frequent basis.
• Punctuality, dependability, and accountability in the field.
• The ability to work away from home for periods of time.
