Job summary

Spectrum Resource Group, a Wright Canada Holdings unit, is seeking a Co-Op Student for a seasonal position. You will support assigned departments, collaborate across teams, and gain exposure to environmental services and vegetation management projects in a professional setting.

Ideal candidates will be pursuing a related field, bring strong communication and Microsoft Office skills, and be prepared to lift up to 50 lbs as needed. This role offers growth potential within Wright Canada holdings.

Qualifications

• Career interest in environmental services or vegetation management.
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License.
• First Aid certification or equivalent is an asset.
• Ability to read, write and speak English sufficiently for job duties.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Self-motivated and able to work well individually and as part of a team.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and adapt to a dynamic environment.

The Position: Co-Op Student/ Partnership Type: Seasonal Reports To: Supervisor

Compensation: $20 - $25 per hour, based on relevant experience

Key Responsibilities:

Experience and Knowledge Expectations:

• Career interest in the assigned department(s), or in the environmental services or vegetation management industries.
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License and a current Driver's Abstract would be considered an asset.
• Must currently possess, or be willing to obtain, Intermediate or Advanced First Aid certification, or equivalent, is considered an asset.
• Ability to work with a team of cross-functional experts in multiple locations.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite products utilizing the latest operating system.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service focusing on rapport-building, listening, questioning and patience.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs as required.
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic, fast paced, and ever-changing environment.
• Ability to read, write and speak English sufficient to perform job duties and to interact and communicate with employees and vendors.
• Self-motivated and the ability to work well individually and as part of a team.
