Key Responsibilities :
- Manage a portfolio of customers in the US & Canada, conducting due diligence and assessing creditworthiness to mitigate credit risk.
- Perform comprehensive financial analysis, identify early warning signs of potential default, and propose mitigation strategies.
- Manage legal portfolios for all customers in the US & Canada, assist analysts with legal accounts, and coordinate third-party collections.
- Provide expertise in leasing, inventory financing, collateral, Canadian & US tax, bankruptcy, and preference law.
- Collaborate with internal departments such as sales, legal, and sales operations to facilitate credit decision-making.
- Prepare quarterly updates on credit portfolio performance and industry trends.
- Lead customer collection efforts when escalation is necessary.
- Manage refunds, tax credits, KYC, and AML compliance requirements.
- Optimize business processes through automation.
- Manage third-party credit vendor contracts and payments.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
- 6-8 years of experience in credit and financial analysis, with a proven track record in a senior analyst role.
- Advanced skills in financial statement analysis and credit dynamics evaluation.
- Negotiation experience with risk mitigation instruments and documentation (preferred).
- Proficiency in advanced Excel, credit analysis software, and tools (preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Knowledge of Credit Insurance (preferred).
- Understanding of Order to Cash processes.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of credit laws, regulations, and best practices (preferred).
- Experience with SAP S4 HANA, BW, Power BI, Process Automation, and AI (strongly preferred).
