Key Responsibilities :
  1. Manage a portfolio of customers in the US & Canada, conducting due diligence and assessing creditworthiness to mitigate credit risk.
  2. Perform comprehensive financial analysis, identify early warning signs of potential default, and propose mitigation strategies.
  3. Manage legal portfolios for all customers in the US & Canada, assist analysts with legal accounts, and coordinate third-party collections.
  4. Provide expertise in leasing, inventory financing, collateral, Canadian & US tax, bankruptcy, and preference law.
  5. Collaborate with internal departments such as sales, legal, and sales operations to facilitate credit decision-making.
  6. Prepare quarterly updates on credit portfolio performance and industry trends.
  7. Lead customer collection efforts when escalation is necessary.
  8. Manage refunds, tax credits, KYC, and AML compliance requirements.
  9. Optimize business processes through automation.
  10. Manage third-party credit vendor contracts and payments.
Qualifications :
  1. Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
  2. 6-8 years of experience in credit and financial analysis, with a proven track record in a senior analyst role.
  3. Advanced skills in financial statement analysis and credit dynamics evaluation.
  4. Negotiation experience with risk mitigation instruments and documentation (preferred).
  5. Proficiency in advanced Excel, credit analysis software, and tools (preferred).
  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  7. Knowledge of Credit Insurance (preferred).
  8. Understanding of Order to Cash processes.
  9. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  10. High accuracy and attention to detail.
  11. Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
  12. Knowledge of credit laws, regulations, and best practices (preferred).
  13. Experience with SAP S4 HANA, BW, Power BI, Process Automation, and AI (strongly preferred).
