The Faculty of Business, Communication Studies & Aviation includes the Bissett School of Business, the School of Communication Studies, and the Aviation Program. The Bissett School offers a four-year Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with majors in accounting, human resources, and general management, including concentrations in innovation and social innovation. The Aviation Program provides a two-year Diploma and a four-year Bachelor of Aviation Management. The School of Communication Studies offers a four-year Bachelor of Communication Studies with majors in Broadcast Media, Information Design, Journalism, and Public Relations. Students can also pursue minors, concentrations, and certificates.
The Bissett School is accredited by EFMD, a global organization dedicated to management development.
This department offers majors/minors in International Business and Supply Chain Management, and a new Bachelor of Aviation Management (BAM) launched in Fall 2024, with concentrations in Flight Crew Options and Aviation Operations. The BAM prepares students for roles in aviation management, airline operations, and airport management, including options for pilot training and management skills development. Facilities include a hangar, simulator, and fleet, with training conducted at Springbank Airport and the main campus.
