Qualifications

• College degree in accounting is required.
• 3–5 years of experience in the field is expected.
• Results-oriented with strong teamwork.
• Strong communication, courtesy and diplomacy.
• Good understanding of MS-Office (Word and Excel).
• Understanding of the construction industry is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with clients to advise on delayed payments and bad standing.
• Recommend new initiatives or suspension of purchasing abilities for non-payment.
• Analyze and approve orders per guidelines and timelines.
• Conduct preliminary checks for new client accounts.
• Respond to mail, manage reports and recoveries registers.
• Process accounts receivable documents and related transmissions.
• Answer information requests and help resolve credit issues with clients.
• Perform other office tasks (word processing, MS Teams, filing, email).
