Job summary

The Rise Resort is seeking a creative, organized, and tech-savvy Events & Marketing Coordinator/Intern to join our Vernon team. You will work closely with the Marketing & Events Manager, supporting daily activities across marketing, social media, events, and communications in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

You’ll help craft social content, coordinate weddings and corporate events, assist with timelines and guest lists, and contribute ideas across multiple areas of the business, with

Qualifications

• Experience or education in marketing, communications, event planning, hospitality, business, or a related field.
• Knowledge or experience with social media marketing and content creation.
• Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, photography, videography, or video editing.
• Experience with events, hospitality, customer service, or administration.
• Familiarity with email marketing, Microsoft Office, event management software, or digital marketing platforms.
• A valid driver's licence is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operations of the Marketing & Events Manager.
• Assist with marketing and events priorities.
• Collaborate with golf and restaurant teams; coordinate with banquet staff on event days.
• Help manage multiple projects and deadlines; own projects from concept to completion.
• Bring ideas and creative solutions to the Marketing & Events Manager.
