Job summary

Directive Consulting is a leading B2B marketing agency that specializes in performance, communications, and commerce. We are seeking a Creative Director to lead the Performance Design department, owning strategy, budgeting, and team development while scaling an established process with AI-driven workflows.

You will manage designers and motion contractors, partner with paid media and client success teams, and drive creative quality that converts.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in creative roles within performance marketing, paid media, or growth-focused agency environments.
• Proven track record in managing creative teams and balancing creative quality with business outcomes
• Comfortable presenting department strategy and financial projections to VPs and CMOs, just as much as reviewing a creative brief

Responsibilities

• Own the creative vision and quality standard for the Performance Design department.
• Review and elevate creative across paid media, display, video, and landing page formats.
• Lead, coach, and develop a multidisciplinary team of designers and motion contractors.
• Partner with paid media and client success to ensure the creative is data-informed from the start.
• Own and manage the department P&L and budgeting decisions.
