Job summary

Roofmart, Canada’s national distributor of exterior building supplies, seeks a reliable Truck Driver to safely load, move and deliver products from our Ontario locations. You will perform pre-trip inspections, ensure on-time delivery, and uphold high safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Applicants should hold a valid Class 3 CDL or AZ/DZ license with a clean driving abstract and be capable of lifting 80–100 lbs. Strong customer service and teamwork are essential for success.

Job Responsibilities

• Safely loading, moving and delivering product
• Performing pre-operational inspections, maintenance checklists, cleaning and lubricating the crane
• Maintaining clean and organized work environments in the store, yard, and trucks
• Strictly adhering to and complying with all health and safety rules, regulations, and legislation
• Other duties as required

Qualifications

• Must have valid insurance acceptable Class 3 CDL and ability to provide current drivers abstract (West)
• Must have valid insurable acceptable AZ/DZ license and clean driving abstract (East)
• Load securement training (can be provided)
• Fall Protection/Working at Heights Training - an asset (can be provided)
• First Aid Certificate - an asset (can be provided)
• Previous Forklift/Moffett training - an asset (can be provided)
• Previous Truck Driver and Operator experience - Preferred
• Ability to lift, push and carry 80-100lbs repeatedly
• Strong customer service skills
• Knowledge of the roofing industry would be considered an asset
• Authorized to work in Canada

Salary range:$30-32
