Our client in the Engineering Services is currently looking for an Overhead Crane Technician on a permanent basis to join their growing team.

What we offer :

  • Reporting to : Location Manager
  • Work Hours : Monday - Friday : 8 : 00 AM to 5 PM (overtime pay for any workday over 8 hours of work)
  • Salary : $57,314 to $103,521 – company truck – 3 weeks’ vacation – RRSP Program – Paid 407 ETR – Paid overtime over 40 hours
  • Permanent Full time, with benefits

What you'll do :

  • Communicate regularly with customers to gather information related to technical issues.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical / air components used on cranes.
  • Perform preventative scheduled maintenance and repairs to ensure safe and proper working order of cranes.
  • Review technical inquiries of customers to recommend possible solutions related to the operation or maintenance.
  • Answer service calls.
  • Perform cold calling to attract new customers.
  • Propose technical solutions to increase customer equipment durability, reliability, productivity & safety.

What we're looking for :

  • Electromechanical Engineering Technician program or equivalent degree.
  • Electrical License such as 442A, Journeyman Electrician or Red seal.
  • Excellent mechanical and electrical skills.
  • At least 3 years of related work experience.
  • Welding experience, an asset.
