Job summary

Energy Job Shop is seeking Crane & Hoisting Equipment Operators to support major projects at Suncor Base Plant & Firebag, Syncrude, and Shell Scotford in Alberta. Camp accommodations are provided with competitive wages and potential overtime.

Operatives will safely operate mobile cranes and hoisting gear to move heavy materials on challenging construction sites. Ideal candidates are experienced, safety-conscious, and willing to work 10-hour shifts days or nights in demanding environments.

Qualifications

• Certification required for operating mobile cranes with lifting capacity of 15 tons (13.6 tonnes) and over.
• Ability to operate and service mobile cranes and hoisting equipment.
• Comfort working in cramped, dirty, and noisy environments.
• Willingness to work 10-hour shifts, days or nights.
• Awareness of hazards such as power line contact, crane overload, and weather conditions.
