Job summary

American Iron & Metal (AIM) is hiring for a day shift position at Port of Quebec (Quebec City). The role involves loading and unloading trucks and ships, operating excavator and loader, and reporting to the Foreman. Shift runs Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., in a dynamic, safety‑driven yard.

The successful candidate will operate heavy equipment, maintain quality of materials, perform inspections, and ensure a clean, safe work environment while contributing to the team’s efficiency.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience operating construction equipment.
• Punctual, polite and patient.
• Conscientious in the use and maintenance of equipment.
• Able to maintain focus for long periods of time.
• Always behave safely.
• Vocational diploma in construction equipment operation is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Operate the excavator and loader.

We are currently looking for a motivated individual to join our team at Port of Quebec (Quebec City). This is a day shift position,Monday to Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Reporting to the Foreman, the incumbent is responsible for loading and unloading trucks and ships.

Qualifications
