Job summary

AIM Recycling in Montreal-East is hiring a Loader Operator to join our industrial recycling operations. You will load, move and handle materials with a loader, primarily outdoors, where safety, awareness and precision are essential.

The role requires a DEP in heavy machinery operation or equivalent, 1–3 years of experience, and a valid operator certification. A Class 5 driver’s license and commitment to safety are also required. We offer a stable daytime schedule and opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

• Note material irregularities or non-conformities to supervisor
• Keep work area clean and safe
• Perform other related duties as required

Job Description

We are currently looking for a Loader Operator to join our team in Montreal-East.

As a Loader Operator, you will be directly involved in our recycling operations by loading, moving, and handling materials using a loader. You will primarily work outdoors in an industrial environment where safety, awareness, and precision are essential.

What you will be responsible for :

• Operate the loader safely and efficiently;
• Load, unload, and move materials throughout different areas of the site;
• Feed the production line and different departments as needed;
• Weigh incoming and outgoing materials and complete the required reports;
• Inspect the equipment before and after each shift;
• Ensure the proper operation of the equipment and report any issues to your supervisor;
• Report any material irregularities or non-conformities to the supervisor;
• Keep your work area clean and safe;
• Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications

To join our team :

• You have a DEP in heavy machinery operation or 1 to 3 years of experience operating heavy equipment;
• You hold a valid heavy equipment operator certification;
• You have a valid Class 5 driver's license;
• You are committed to health and safety;
