Job summary

Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) is seeking a CPIC Platoon Supervisor to lead the CPIC Operators, ensuring accurate and timely CPIC processing across the platoon. You will supervise staff, handle performance reviews, and coordinate staffing to maintain efficient operations within Versadex and related systems.

The role requires a high school diploma with CPIC course experience, exceptional attention to detail, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma with up to 1 year post-secondary coursework; four years CPIC Operator experience or equivalent
  • Successful completion of CPIC Maintenance Course (RCMP pre-hire) and CPIC Advanced course (post-hire)
  • Strong attention to detail, multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, listening, written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience supervising CPIC Operators and coordinating platoon staffing

Responsibilities

  • Supervise CPIC Operators and ensure efficient platoon operation.
  • Perform annual performance reviews for platoon members.
  • Manage CPIC records, flags, and related modules (Versadex, CPIC, NORA, ECM).
  • Liaise with agencies for mutual aid and share CPIC updates.
